The T3 is 16-voice polyphonic in single mode (1 oscillator per voice) and 8-voice polyphonic in double mode (2 oscillators per voice). the EXK-T extension brings 1 megabyte (!!) sample RAM for your own PCM samples.
The T1 had sample RAM as standard, while this could be retrofitted to the T2/T3 with the EXK-T.
The Korg T series appeared in 1989 with the flagship T1 (88 weighted keys), the T2 (76 keys) and the T3 (61 keys).
